Cincinnati Bengals Choose Skyview Networks for Inventory Management Solutions
Skyview to provide its F.A.S.T. Inventory Management solution and Live Read Logging service to the franchise

PHOENIX, Ariz. (11/02/11) — National Football League’s (NFL) Cincinnati Bengals and play-by-play broadcast specialist, Skyview Networks, announced today a multi-year partnership for inventory management solutions. Skyview Networks will provide its F.A.S.T. (Flexible Audio Storage Technology) Inventory Management solution and Live Read Logging service to the franchise that has re-absorbed its radio rights in house beginning with the 2011 NFL season. The partnership aims to provide the franchise one integrated solution for managing all aspects of its radio inventory internally.

“Skyview Networks has become a valued partner as we have prepared for our first season maintaining radio rights in house,” said Brian Sells, Cincinnati Bengals director of broadcasting. “The F.A.S.T. solution for inventory management provides us with the tools we need to run a successful operation and we look forward to building a lasting partnership.”

The Cincinnati Bengals, in planning for inventory management needs, partnered with Skyview Networks for installation and training of the F.A.S.T. Inventory Management solution. F.A.S.T., installed at the Cincinnati Bengals Executive Offices, will provide the sales and traffic departments a user friendly interface that provides a panoramic view of all contracts, inventory and scheduling. The Live Read Logging service also provided by Skyview Networks will capture all on air mentions of radio broadcasts. The Live Read Logging service, paired with F.A.S.T., will provide all radio as-played reporting and affidavit generation for contract fulfillment purposes.

“We enjoyed working with the Bengals as the NFL season approached,” said Matt Stys, vice president business development for Skyview Networks. “The Bengals expressed a need for a streamlined and user friendly solution to their inventory management needs and we are proud they have found these qualities in our F.A.S.T. system.”

F.A.S.T. is uniquely tailored to the non-linear nature of play-by-play sports and provides flexible spot scheduling (its direct log access allows last minute scheduling changes and spot check reports for accuracy). This system is designed to work in tandem with Skyview’s broadcast solutions for affiliate automation, satellite distribution and ad regionalization.
